Read the drizzt series pretty much through high school. It's great for mass amount of content and for setting a pretty good bar for fantasy. Drizzt begins to get stale himself but I love almost every other character by Salvatore, especially entreri, drizzts' arch nemesis, he also has a wonderful side trilogy for him I might add. Also, Drizzt wears the silk shirt under his armor, its just a torso slot item that grants DR or fortification. EDIT: Over a year ago, I found a site where somebody gave all the drizzt characters stats that were actually accurate. I have no idea where that is, though. Oct 9, 2009 · Wow I love the drizzt series all of them, i know people talk about the writing styles and the phrases that are repeated but over all ive yet to read a better series the discription of the lands and the towns and everything are great the ending to this book was sad but knowing that there will be more books brings comfort.

Read all the different series. There are over 20 books about Drizzt. It goes from like 5th-7th level content, steadily up to 10th-12th, and steadily up till they are like level 20+ (3rd edition level system, although the books do have the shift to 4th edition in them or maybe its the shift to 5th, its in there though).
